Southbury, Connecticut’s beloved Argentine Tango instructors Dardo Galletto and Alonso Guzmán have been named Southbury Artists of the Year in a moving recognition featured in the Southbury Record. The honor, awarded during A Night for the Arts in Southbury, celebrates their years of dedication to bringing Argentine Tango and the performing arts to the Southbury community and greater Western Connecticut.

Their weekly Argentine Tango classes at the Movement Arts Center in Southbury have attracted beginner dancers, experienced social dancers, and couples alike. Dardo and Alonso also organize and perform at milongas and special tango events throughout Western Connecticut, including at Aquila’s Nest Vineyards in Newtown and at the Silo in Washington, CT.
